In the time before a full mouth reconstruction is completed, provisional crowns, or temporaries, are used to ensure the patient doesn't go another day without a perfect smile. Provisionals are a close replicate of the final crown that is put in the mouth, and are an important tool in the treatment plan, as they provide patients an opportunity to test their bite and total aesthetics.
